Director of Membership
Beth Hartgen has spent more than 20 years in the association field focused on member engagement. She spent 16 years at the National Restaurant Association, 6 of those as vice president of membership. In that role, Hartgen directed recruitment and retention of corporate members, increasing overall membership dues from $2.6 to $4 million. She also managed, educated and trained national and state restaurant association staff on recruitment and retention practices and member benefits.
Hartgen has also provided strategic membership services for clients including the National Association of Manufactures and the National Retail Association. She earned her CAE in 2009 and her IOM in 2008.
On a Personal Note
Hartgen lives outside of Annapolis, MD with her husband and their two girls. She enjoys being a soccer team manager, homeroom mom and Girl Scout troop leader.
