Accounting Manager
Athena has spent over 20 years working in finance and accounting with a focus on managing and performing all day-to-day accounting functions, reporting, analysis, internal controls, and operations in both for profit and non-profit organizations. Her experience includes reconciliations, AR/AP, general ledger, invoicing, collections, preparing and presenting financial reports, budget development, forecasting and projections, client/vendor relations, process creation and implementation, and people management.
On a Personal Note
Athena resides in the Washington, DC area with her husband, 2 dogs, and seven cats. In her free time, she volunteers with an animal rescue as a board member, occasional event planner, adoption coordinator, and foster to both cats and dogs in need. When she is not busy working or rescuing animals, Athena enjoys attending concerts, reading, and travel.
