Director, Membership & Partnerships
Dr. Ann Lee Flynn spent nearly 30 years supporting school and industry leaders focused on K-12 education technology. As the National School Boards Association’s Director of Education Innovation, Flynn oversaw district membership programs, hosted over 100 school district and STEM corporate site visits, directed conference programming and vendor relations for the T+L conference, and established the “20 to Watch” and Technology Innovation Showcase recognition programs for emerging leaders and start-up companies. Flynn is a past President of NCTET and in 2014, was honored as one of the 30 Top Technologists, Transformers and Trailblazers by the Center for Digital Education where she is currently a Senior Fellow. She began her career in higher education at LSU as the Freshman Women’s Counselor and recently established Flynn Strategies, LLC.
Flynn received her B.S.E. and M.Ed. from the University of Arkansas and her Ed.D. from the University of Virginia in Higher Education Administration. She completed a DEI Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business in 2021.
On a Personal Note
Flynn lives near Washington, D.C. in the historic town of Haymarket, VA where she and her husband have easy access to hiking trails and vineyards.
