Carrie has experience in writing, messaging, copyediting, social media content, and more. She makes sure the voice, tone and structure of a written piece are working, and rewrites content as needed to make it flow more naturally.
Carrie has served as an independent consultant for organizations including Georgetown University, NPR affiliate WAMU, and National Geographic Magazine. Before consulting, she was the Director of Corporate Communications for the National Geographic Society, where she worked with executives and explorers to tell their stories.
On a Personal Note
Carrie has a BA in Communications from Syracuse University and an MS in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University. She lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her husband, their three children, and little white dog.
